Who We Are and Our Mission
In 2013, I left high-paying corporate jobs in some of the largest financial organizations in the US to pursue my passion of combining my creativity and “right brain” personality with my love for the financial sector.
Thus was the birth of Select Advisors.
Since then, our firm has worked with thousands of financial advisors and CPA’s as a sales and executive coach, chief marketing officer, brand consultant, compensation strategist, keynote speaker, team offsite moderator, investor forum “professor” and more.
At Select Advisors, our key goal is to help financial advisors, RIA’s and CPA’s grow and improve their practice through three distinct ways:
Branding and marketing for financial advisors, RIA’s and CPA’s (including all design and implementation)
Leadership Development and Practice Management (including building efficient processes, team organization and compensation restructuring).
Consultative Sales Training (building a program that matches your unique personality)
Our clients include financial institutions, financial advisors and CPA’s.
Our mission is very simple: To help a select group of advisors we truly believe in succeed and grow, through better methods of finding new opportunities, better ways of connecting with their prospects, and better ways of marketing themselves. Through research, training, coaching and collaboration, we build processes around an institution's sales and marketing efforts to make its growth objectives more predictable, effective and organized.
Our process? The use of every single tool in our toolkit to help advisors that we love succeed.
We provide done-for-you (DFY) marketing and advisor business consulting!

The post highlights three key factors contributing to this issue. Firstly, the lack of clarity on the advisor's niche market, emphasizing the need for a specific and well-defined ideal client. Secondly, referrals driven by niceness rather than suitability, necessitating client education on making appropriate referrals. Lastly, the importance of strong sales coaching and consultative skills to effectively convert referrals into clients. Addressing these factors can optimize referral processes, attract ideal clients, and foster business growth.
