2026-2027 PRIORITY ACTION LIST (PAL)
OVERALL STRATEGY:
This Priority Action List translates Pioneer's monthly marketing retainer with Select Advisors Institute into the concrete workstreams Select Advisors Institute delivers. It scales the content engine that already drives Pioneer's organic visibility, while adding the relationship-building, video, website, and community-development work needed to convert that visibility into a qualified pipeline.
Paid media, PR, and event spend are addressed separately at the end of this document, since those are funded directly by Pioneer.
Together, these workstreams keep Pioneer's marketing engine running on a predictable cadence: content and SEO/AEO build visibility, centers-of-influence outreach, company campaigns and webinars build relationships, video and social put a human face on both, ongoing website work keeps the front door working, and a dedicated community ambassador turns that pipeline into closed business.
PRIORITY ACTION LIST (I.E. PALS):
1. High-Volume SEO / AEO Content Engine (5 PALs)
Estimated start date: October 1
To scale Pioneer's organic content pipeline well beyond the current pace, increasing visibility on both traditional search and AI engines across Pioneer's priority niches.
Content Strategy
● Draft up to 60 SEO/AEO-optimized articles per month, sourcing the specific language, questions, and phrasing directly from submissions on Pioneer's website contact forms so every piece mirrors how real prospects actually search and ask.
● Work with Pioneer's compliance team to review drafts before anything is published.
● Execute full technical on-page optimization on every published piece: title tags, meta descriptions, H1–H3 header hierarchy, structured data / schema markup (Article, FAQ, and LocalBusiness schema), keyword density and semantic relevance optimization, and internal anchor-text strategy.
● Build out a backlink architecture and off-page authority program: outbound outreach for high-domain-authority backlinks, disavow file maintenance, and internal link equity mapping across topic clusters.
● Manage ongoing technical SEO through Google Search Console and Google Analytics: crawl budget monitoring, indexation checks, XML sitemap submission, canonicalization, 404 and crawl-error resolution, and Core Web Vitals monitoring (page speed, mobile usability).
● Reinforce E-E-A-T signals (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness) across content and author bios to support both traditional rankings and AI/answer-engine citation.
● Source, select, and apply SEO-optimized alt-text, file naming conventions, compression, and metadata tagging across all imagery.
● Deliver a keyword and ranking report every 6 weeks, including keyword movement, competitor gap analysis, and identification of top-performing pages to guide future content and ad-spend priorities.
2. Centers of Influence (COI) Outreach (2 PALs)
Estimated start date: October 1
To build a systematic, repeatable channel of introductions from trusted professionals who refer at a higher average client value than any other channel.
Outreach Strategy
● Build and continuously expand a verified prospect list of 400 centers of influence, including trust and estate attorneys, family law attorneys, business attorneys, business valuation experts, property and casualty professionals, tax strategists and CPAs, and similar referral sources.
● Draft and A/B test multiple connection-request message variants to identify what earns the strongest response and acceptance rate.
● Designate one trusted, approved sender to handle all outreach on Pioneer's behalf, keeping the relationship consistent and recognizable over time.
● Connect with all 400 contacts using the best-performing approved messaging, building out Pioneer's long-term referral network of professionals who come to recognize and trust the firm.
● After the initial round, run a second InMail campaign to the same list roughly three months later, such as an invitation to an upcoming webinar.
● Host a quarterly co-branded webinar or small event with a COI, putting each firm in front of the other's clients so the relationship stays active.
● Track response and connection rates by message variant and contact type to keep refining outreach over time.
3. Google & NVIDIA Employee Campaign (2 PALs)
Estimated start date: November 1
To make Pioneer the go-to financial advisory firm for employees at Google and NVIDIA in Austin, two of the largest concentrations of high-earning tech professionals within miles of Pioneer's office. Both companies serve as the pilot, with the same playbook expanding to Indeed, Cirrus Logic, and Tesla once it is proven. The approach is intentionally relationship-first and low-key, building word of mouth inside each company rather than an aggressive push.
Research & Positioning
● Map each company's Austin presence, compensation structure, and benefits (RSU vesting schedules, ESPP, stock options, 401(k) match, deferred compensation, and open enrollment windows) so every message speaks to the decisions employees actually face.
● Identify the life and career moments that drive the need for advice at each company: vesting cliffs, IPO and liquidity events, promotions, job changes, relocations, and layoffs or severance.
● Develop a company-specific messaging guide for Google and NVIDIA, positioning Pioneer as the local, fee-only firm that understands their equity, taxes, and goals.
Client Ambassadors
● Work with Pioneer's advisors to identify existing clients at Google and NVIDIA and invite the right ones to serve as informal internal ambassadors.
● Equip ambassador clients with simple, shareable pieces (a short company-specific guide, an event invitation, and referral talking points) they can pass along to colleagues.
● Recognize and thank ambassador clients with a personal touch, such as a small appreciation gift or an invitation to an exclusive client event.
Content & Landing Pages
● Refresh Pioneer's existing Google and NVIDIA landing pages with updated messaging, advisor bios, and a clear call to schedule a conversation.
● Write a steady stream of company-specific content each month: RSU and stock option strategies, ESPP decisions, concentrated stock risk, tax planning around vesting, and benefits elections during open enrollment.
● Create one downloadable guide per company (for example, "The Google Employee's Guide to RSUs and Taxes") to use across outreach, events, and nurture emails.
● Produce short videos featuring the Pioneer advisor known for equity compensation, answering the questions Google and NVIDIA employees ask most.
Outreach & Events
● Run personalized LinkedIn outreach to Austin-area Google and NVIDIA employees on behalf of a designated Pioneer advisor (for example, "I work with a number of professionals at Google...").
● Write a dedicated email sequence for employees of each company who download a guide or reach out, feeding the prospect nurture program (Item 6).
● Develop an approach to each company's HR, benefits, and retirement plan teams to offer an educational lunch-and-learn or open enrollment workshop, building on Pioneer's relationship at Whole Foods/Amazon as a model.
● Host one small educational event per company (in person or virtual) on an equity compensation topic, with ambassador clients invited to bring colleagues.
● Track introductions, meetings, and new households from each company, and use what works at Google and NVIDIA to roll the playbook out to the next companies.
4. Video Editing & Repurposing (3 PALs)
Estimated start date: October 1
To build a consistent, higher-output video presence across platforms, using a repeatable production process rather than a dedicated in-house video team.
Video Strategy
● Select two to three advisors to serve as the designated on-camera voices, rotating topics between them so no single person carries the full production load.
● Associate each advisor with a specialty (for example, small business owners or equity compensation), prioritizing steady volume over high production value.
● Maintain two video formats: short-form, 1–3 minute direct-to-camera videos answering top-of-mind client questions or evergreen topics, and longer-form, roughly 15-minute COI interviews that showcase how Pioneer works alongside trusted professionals.
● Source topics from the same pipeline as the content engine: real client and prospect questions, evergreen niche topics, and subjects suggested by advisors or COIs.
● For interview-style videos, identify and vet the COI guest, confirm their availability, and coordinate scheduling directly with them or with the advisor's introduction.
● Develop an interview outline and question set in advance so both the advisor and the guest know the structure and flow of the conversation.
● SAI sends the selected topic, a sample script or talking points, and (for interviews) the finalized outline and recording guidelines to the designated advisor ahead of the shoot.
● The advisor (and guest, for interviews) records over Zoom or a similar platform, or in person, and sends the raw footage back to SAI.
● SAI edits the footage: trims dead time and false starts, adds captions, branded intro/outro elements, lower-thirds for speaker identification, and a custom thumbnail.
● Repurpose each finished video into platform-specific cuts for YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram, including shorter clips pulled from longer interviews.
● Maintain a rolling topic, guest, and script calendar so recording days stay efficient, predictable, and spaced evenly across the designated advisors.
5. Humanized Social Media Content (1 PAL)
Estimated start date: October 1
To keep a consistent, human presence across social channels using content already produced elsewhere in this plan.
Social Strategy
● Publish up to 8 posts per month across LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook, depending on how often your team fills out the monthly forms.
● Mix humanized content (team spotlights, behind-the-scenes moments, community involvement, firm milestones) with posts repurposed from the SEO, video and webinar content produced above.
● Route all posts through compliance before scheduling.
6. Prospect Nurture Content (1 PAL)
Estimated start date: Immediate
To keep prospects who are not yet in active contact warm, closing what is currently Pioneer's biggest funnel leak: leads who never scheduled after an initial inquiry, or who went cold after an intro meeting.
Nurture Strategy
● Write drip email campaigns organized by how the lead came to Pioneer: for example, a sequence for leads from Google search, one for website contact-form inquiries, and one for prospects who went cold after an intro meeting.
● Deliver one piece of value-driven content each month (a guide, checklist or dedicated email) to feed these sequences, rather than a generic check-in.
● Repurpose guides, articles and downloadables already produced under the content engine (Item 1) as the core nurture material, rather than building stand-alone assets from scratch.
● Review campaign open and click rates monthly and refine messaging accordingly.
7. Website Updates & Optimization (1 PAL)
Ongoing
To keep Pioneer's Squarespace site current, compliant, and ready to support every campaign and landing page this plan produces.
Website Strategy
● Ongoing site updates, glitch and bug fixes, and optimization, including refreshed messaging, layout, and design elements as needed.
● Manage ongoing Squarespace hosting for the site.
● Implement and maintain cookie acceptance and related privacy safeguards across the site.
● Add and update team member pages as new hires join the firm.
● Continuously build new landing pages, targeting approximately five per year, to support niches, campaigns, and SEO initiatives as they arise.
8. Pioneer Community Ambassador Search (5 PALs)
Estimated start date: November 1
To find and onboard a dedicated community and business development ambassador who builds Pioneer's presence in Austin through relationships, not cold leads.
Search Strategy
● Lead the full search: job posting, candidate screening, and interviews, with a typical timeline of about three months to find the right fit.
● Recommend a compensation structure for the role.
● Write the ambassador's business plan, covering community events, COI relationships, and outreach to employees at target companies.
BUDGET FUNDED DIRECTLY BY PIONEER (NOT PART OF THIS RETAINER SCOPE):
These categories are Pioneer's own spend, separate from the workstreams above.
● PR firm retainer: $8,000/month (external vendor; press placements and AI-search credibility signal).
● High-end client / COI events: variable, scheduled as needed (lunches, dinners, small gatherings for top clients and centers of influence).
● Directory & platform listings: low, ad hoc cost; supports AI/answer-engine visibility.
● Video ad spend: approximately $1,000/quarter to promote produced video content across social platforms.
● SEO boost ad spend: approximately $1,000–$2,000/quarter behind the 5–10 top-performing articles identified through the 6-week keyword and ranking report, to accelerate their reach.
