Overview of MD Leadership Working Session
This engagement is designed to support Managing Directors (MDs) at Modern Wealth as the firm continues to focus on leadership development, mentorship, and accountability for next-generation talent. This session is designed to take place during Accelerate Conference, Modern Wealth’s MD offsite, and focuses on leadership, mentorship, and accountability for next-generation talent.
The purpose of this work is to help MDs reflect on current leadership and mentorship practices, incorporate feedback from next-generation team members, and identify clear, practical actions that support continued growth and alignment across the firm.
This is not a keynote or motivational presentation. It is a facilitated MD working session focused on leadership effectiveness, mentorship expectations, and goal setting tied to the firm’s long-term objectives.
The program is led by Amy Parvaneh and the Select Advisors Institute team, bringing experience working with MDs and leadership teams across financial services.

Clear leadership priorities for MDs, improved mentorship practices, and defined goals that can be tracked internally to support leadership development and next-generation growth.

Option 1: MD Leadership Working Session at Accelerate Conference

Overview
A focused, in-person MD leadership working session at Accelerate Conference, designed to bring Managing Directors together to discuss leadership, mentorship, and accountability in a practical, structured format.
The session is grounded in Modern Wealth’s internal context and incorporates themes and observations drawn from next-generation feedback and program participation.
What This Includes
1. MD Leadership Working Session (In-Person at Accelerate Conference in late February, 2026)
One in-person session led by Amy Parvaneh
Amy’s availability for up to 5 hours, including 90 minutes of facilitation
Structured as a facilitated working session, not a keynote
Travel fees charged separately
Session focus areas include:
Review of key themes emerging from next-generation (G2) feedback
Discussion of leadership and mentorship expectations for MDs
Identifying common gaps between leadership intent and team experience
Approaches to supporting, developing, and empowering next-generation leaders
Clarifying MD roles in mentorship, coaching, and development
Defining leadership and mentorship goals for the coming year
2. Leadership Goals & Accountability
Facilitated discussion to help MDs identify specific leadership or mentorship goals
Alignment on how goals will be documented and tracked internally (including use of existing tools such as Lattice)

Option 2: MD Leadership Committee Support

Overview
An expanded engagement designed to provide additional support for Modern Wealth’s MD Leadership Committee. This option combines the MD Leadership Working Session with individual follow-up coaching sessions to reinforce leadership alignment and accountability.
This option is intended for MDs who would like additional support translating session takeaways into their own leadership and mentorship approach.

2. MD Leadership Committee Coaching Sessions
One private follow-up session conducted via Zoom
Up to 6 Managing Directors
One-hour session per MD
Sessions focus on:

Clarifying expectations and leadership approach
Translating session insights into individual leadership goals
3. Summary & Alignment
Synthesis of common themes emerging across MD conversations
